Keep the public online, but implement the option to play only with friends and let people then decide where to play. I am just saying not everyone wants pvp in RDR2 online and should have another option available to them.

Those who want pvp and play online with everyone is free to do so. I am saying to implement private sessions for those who want it and that has a playstyle and desire to only play with friends when they want to. I am not saying to get rid of online and only do private sessions.

There is people out there whos playstyle are different and they might not like the things in games that you like. You want to be able to level up, do missions, fish, hunt and level up in the different roles without someone comes and attacks you for NO reason other than to just kill you and maybe take you stuff. I don't think that's funny or nice, because this isn't a 'kill everyone, anywhere, anytime' kind of game. It's a different kind of game and not everyone wants to be killed by a level 60 player while you yourself is at level 7 or something like that while you are just minding your own business not looking for a fight. So that alone is really not a quick way to switch lobbies.Not everyone wants pvp, just to play with friends and RDR2 Online isn't Pubg or CS:GO. I've found that simply pressing ESC > Story > Exit Game > now I'm back at main menu and then selecting free roam again usually does not change my lobby session most times. This many times will change sessions when you do this. After that actually loads you into it, you can exit it and go back to free roam gamplay. Hold down L key and do a Quick Join on an Event. One thing you can do is load up the game and if you had issues where you last left the game like lets say I ALT+F4 the game last time and was in Valentine where many of them were hanging out and causing problems, instead of picking Free Roam from Main Menu, choose something like Camp to spawn at your Camp (if you had that setup somewhere prior), or go to the very bottom of main menu and pick a Region to spawn into.ĭuring free roaming playing, if you run into problems with cheaters, people obviously using a trainer, etc.

Maybe 5% of the entire time out of all my many many hours of RDO have I run into them. Sometimes have them floating around Thieves Landing also.įor the most part, I hardly run into problems with them. Lately they seem to float around Valentine for whatever reasons, so for most of my gameplay lately I just avoid that general area.
